This is "Book 1" of the most popular and successful method books around, "Essential Elements: A Comprehensive String Method". The conductor's score is the tool for the teacher to properly train the beginning string player. The front of the book contains an overview and layout of the book, parent communication letters, student evaluations, performance evaluations, and quizzes. These will give you lots of ideas to help you keep the parents informed on the progress of their child. You will also be able to plan quizzes and exams for the students. From there the book is laid out as a conductor's score for all of the exercises in the book. There are teaching tips throughout the book to help you remember the key points to tell the students. One of the final items in the book are fingering charts for violin, viola, cello, and bass. These may be the best tools that you will always have at your fingertips.
